_How long does it take to paint a model?
Bodypainting:
How long it takes to paint a model varies greatly from project to project. It can take anywhere from 2 hours up, depending on the size and intricacy of the design. New Skin Bodyart will be able to provide you with this information once we know your specific needs and wishes for your project or event.
Prenatal Belly Painting:
Again, how long it will take depends on the design. The approximate time for a regular private session would be about 2 - 3 hours (including taking pictures). For events, such as fairs, trade fairs or store openings, designs can be changed or created so that a high volume of Belly paintings can be done in the alotted time frame.
How long does a body painting or prenatal belly painting last?
Professional Face and Body paint is designed for temporary wear and not permanent. How long it will last depends a lot on the environment and the products that are being used. Certain factors such as rubbing through movement or clothing and sweating can make a huge difference. Typically a body painting with regular water based face and body art make-up can last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. However, there are some ways to enhance the durability of the body painting even further. By using alcohol based make up durability of the painting can be prolonged immensely and even last through rain to some extent.
Who can get bodypainted?
New Skin Bodyart provides service to anyone who is open to the experience and wishes to get body painted.
Having said this, some restrictions apply. You need to legally be concidered an adult and be able to prove it to get a full bodypainting. Minors can still get parts of the body painted, for example for such events as a prom when they wear a neckholder or strapless dress they can get the arms or shoulders painted.
In addition, we will not paint anyone who has open cuts or sores on the skin we are about to paint or shows visible signs of illness, including but not limited to fever, runny nose and coughs. We also reserve the right to turn down service if the model verbally or physically harasses or is violent towards the bodypainter._
